Soda Springs

Located just one mile off Interstate 80 at California’s Donner Summit is Soda Springs, a small, family-friendly winter sports playground your kids will not soon forget. Two lifts service multiple runs for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders alike. A 390-foot moving carpet transports tubers in the dedicated snow tubing area, Tube Town. And a circular track introduces kids age 6 to 12 to snowmobiling.

Our new Planet Kids area is targeted toward children age 8 and under. A Planet Kids ticket includes access to two moving carpets for beginner skiers and boarders, two tubing carousels, sleigh rides and more. Soda Springs also offers convenient learn to ski/snowboard packages—including lift ticket, equipment rental and one-and-a-half hour beginner lesson—at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. daily.
