ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

John Cumming is POWDR’s founder and chairman. John and his brother, David Cumming, grew up in the mountains and in mountain communities. John’s deep appreciation of the mountain life was the impetus for him to become a climbing guide for Rainier Mountaineering Incorporated and later to be a founding shareholder at Mountain Hardwear before founding POWDR in 1994.

To apply for an internship with POWDR Corp, please email your cover letter and resume to HR@powdr.com. Be sure to indicate your area of interest and why you’re passionate about joining our team. We review applications on a rolling basis and will contact qualified candidates for interviews. Most internship opportunities run April/May to August/September, with consideration of continuing into the school year based on intern and business needs. All internship opportunities are hosted at our Park City, Utah headquarters.
